Hadley Roberts-Donnelly, LAPC, MPhilEd

CO-FOUNDER & LICENSED ASSOCIATE PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

I have seen time and time again how the therapeutic space can be a catalyst for healing, growth, and self-actualization. Humans are built for connection, and when that connection is safe and supportive, we can begin to tend to the most vulnerable parts of our stories. I believe that together we have the ability to move through and forward from what has hurt us.

I work predominantly with women and LGBTQIA+ people working through relational issues & trauma and who are wanting to explore the origins of their distress. I work with couples (of all orientations/genders) managing the challenges of communication, conflict, and identity/sexuality integration. With my clients, I enjoy weaving through moments of healing insight and moments of intentional growth while honoring our changing needs and overall goals.

I look at emotional suffering through the lens of relational-cultural theory, and find much of our distress can be traced back to experiencing big emotions unwillingly alone. My job, as your therapist, is to assist you in replacing these relational images (or ideas of how things will go) with new ideas. I will do so by providing you with an open, welcoming, and attuned space, and by inviting all versions of you to show up to each session. Whether we explore new ways of managing distressing feelings, giggle through a recent relational hiccup, or challenge ourselves by diving into some untapped memories, I will be alongside you every step of the way — showing up as all of the versions of myself just as well.

In addition to my work with adults, I work with children and adolescents, incorporating techniques from play and art therapy. Children are unbelievably intuitive and resilient when we allow them to be, and my goal is to minimize barriers to their development by promoting meaningful connection and advocating for their needs.

If you feel we would be a good fit, call, text, or email (template included) to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. I am currently accepting new clients for both in-person and virtual sessions.

Individuals - $140 (50-minute session)
